Dear Friends,
If you read the article to the right, you heard me say that at times in our lives we need to let go of something we love and enjoy doing and being a part of. I have a passion for women. I love working with women. I have loved being a part of the women's ministry arm of FEB CENTRAL and the ministry of Women Unlimited.
I have been greatly blessed with an awesome team. The Women Unlimited team is a group of women who know the true meaning of commitment.
Most of the team has been with me for 10 years. I'd say that was commitment.
Many of the lives of the team have changed over the past few months. One has a new baby coming from China, one is committed to the care of her elderly father, one is being led into a new ministry in her local church, one is taking courses, and one is getting married. All of these changes are good things, but they do mark a change of direction for those gals. I love them even more for their dedication and open hearts for what God requires of them.
I have been going full steam ahead for the past 10 years, with Women of Grace first and then Women Unlimited. It is time for me to "get my house in order." That does not mean my home -- although it certainly could use some work! :) -- but all aspects of my life, starting with time spent with my Heavenly Father, asking Him to lead and guide me.
I will be staying involved in FEB CENTRAL Ministries and particularly with FEB CENTRAL Women's Ministries but in a different capacity. In the near future you will see my name connected with communications from both ministries. Details are still being worked out. I'm also looking forward to leading one further Women Unlimited event in the new year, and you will be hearing about that soon.
Thank you so much for all your love and support over the years. Thanks to all the FEB CENTRAL staff and especially Lance Johnson. It has been a pleasure to work with Lance and the staff. I say thanks to my team...you are the best!

Will there be any more conferences?
A: Perhaps in the future. There will be "events" put on by the Women's Ministries of FEB CENTRAL. Women Unlimited will do one last event in February 2010. Watch for details!
Will Betty be involved in them?
A: Maybe, or maybe not :). Betty's commitment to the Lord is to pull back.
Who will head up the ministry?
A: Heather McKenzie will continue in her role as the director of FEB CENTRAL Women's Ministries. You can contact her at heather@febcentral.ca

Betty has served and, in her new roles with FEB CENTRAL, will continue to serve with excellence. I look forward to her continued involvement with FEB CENTRAL.
I certainly understand that Betty has a need to "pull back" on some of her activities, and we will work to respect that even as she continues with FEB CENTRAL as a partner in ministry.
I say to Betty, "THANK YOU for being such a phenomenal servant of the Lord and co-worker. As a result of your labours, spiritual fruit has been realized and will continue to be reaped. We are most grateful for your service."
